File of Life Cards Available
The Lancaster Ambulance Department has printed File of Life cards which residents can use to list all their medical conditions, allergies, insurance info, medications taken, etc. The cards are folded up and placed in a magnetized pocket that can be attached to the refrigerator door. Then, if the EMT’s are ever called to the house, they can see immediately what the resident’s medical situation is. The Ambulance Department recommends that senior citizens especially and other people with particular health issues use these File of Life cards. The cards and magnetized pockets are free and are available at the Public Safety Building at 1053 Main Street and from the Selectmen’s and the Clerk’s Offices at the Town Hall, 695 Main Street.
