Lancaster Recreation Committee meets first and third Tuesdays of each month at 7:30 p.m.
Meetings are currently held at the Thayer Memorial Library but will soon be relocated to the Community Center once open.

Lancaster Recreation is soon to have a dedicated office location at the Lancaster Community Center and will have additional information on all programs once opened.

At this time, Lancaster Recreation oversees the following activities and programs:
Men's Basketball League - An adult recreational basketball league running from September through April. The group plays on Tuesday nights 6-8PM at the Luther Burbank gymnasium. For more information please contact
Lancaster Co-ed Softball League - This is an over 25 adult co-ed softball league comprised of ten business teams from the greater Nashoba area. The softball league plays at Thayer Field starting late June through September. The league offers recreational softball for any locally sponsored team. All games start at 6PM. Youth Basketball - this is a youth basketball league for grades 1 through 8. Games and practices are held at Mary Rowlandson Elementary and Luther Burbank Middle schools. Games are played with the towns of Bolton, Harvard, Maynard and Stow. Town Beach - The Lancaster Town Beach, located at Spec Pond, is open for minimum of eight (8) weeks each summer. Fully staffed with certified Lifeguards and parking staff you can enjoy swimming and other water activities. The town beach has restroom facilities and a concession stand. Season beach passes are available for residents and non-residents and day passes can be purchased on site.
