The Nashoba Associated Boards of Health schedules rabies clinics throughout the area every spring, beginning in early March and running through April. Residents of any towns covered by the NABH can have their dogs and cats immunized at any of the rabies clinics sponsored by the NABH. The Lancaster rabies clinic will be held on Saturday, March 5, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the DPW Highway Barn (Recycling Center) on Center Bridge Road. Click here for the schedule for rabies clinics in the area.
The cost is $10 per vaccination (cash only in Lancaster). If you have a copy of an up-to-date rabies certificate for your cat or dog, bring it to the clinic and your pet will be given a three-year vaccination; otherwise a one-year vaccination will be administered.
Cats must be in carriers; dogs must be on a leash held by a competent adult.
