The Recycling Center, at the Town Barn on Center Bridge Road, is open on Saturdays and Sundays, weather permitting, from 10 a.m. to noon. The Center is closed on major holiday weekends (Christmas, New Years, Easter, Memorial Day and Labor Day).
To find out if the Recycling Center is closed because of inclement weather, please call the Lancaster Communications Center at 978-368-1380. Typically, information will be available by 9:30 a.m. on the day the Center is closed.
Please note that no hazardous materials are accepted at the Recycling Center. Twice a year Mass Toss hosts a Hazardous Household Waste Day (HHWD), the first Saturday in May at Devens, and then again in September at the DPW Barn in Lunenburg.
