The Recycling Center, at the Town Barn on Center Bridge Road, is OPEN on Saturdays and Sundays, weather permitting, from 10 a.m. to noon. The Center is CLOSED on major holiday weekends: New Years*, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th*, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas*. Also, The Recycling Center is CLOSED on the Sunday of Mothers Day and Fathers Day weekends. (It is OPEN on Saturday of Mothers Day and Fathers Day weekend.)
*The Recycling Center will be CLOSED for the Christmas, New Years, or July 4th holiday weekends if these holidays fall on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. In 2012 the Recycling Center will be closed on the weekend between Christmas and New Years, Saturday and Sunday, December 29 and 30.
To find out if the Recycling Center is closed because of inclement weather, please call the Lancaster Communications Center at 978-368-1380. Typically, information will be available by 9:30 a.m. on the day the Center is closed.
