A Special Town Meeting has been called for Tuesday, February 9th

The last day to register to vote in order to participate in the Meeting is Friday, January 29th.

The Town Clerk's Office will be open from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM to facilitate this registration.

Absentee Ballots for the March 1st, Presidential Primary are now available!

In order to be eligible to vote by absentee ballot in Massachusetts, a voter must be prevented from voting at their polling place on Election Day due to:

Absence from the voter's town on Election Day; or
Physical disability; or
Religious belief

Absentee ballots must be requested in writing by either the voter or the voter's family member. If you would like to request an absentee ballot, you may submit an application or a signed letter to your local election official. Applications may be downloaded from the Secretary of State's Website: http://www.sec.state.ma.us/ele/elepdf/absentee_ballot.pdf

Please Note: No bills are sent out by the Town Clerk's office. If you have a question about a bill, please call the phone number listed on the bill.

Dog Licenses
All dogs over 6 months old need to be licensed by March 31st every year.  Please send your check and enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope with additional postage ($0.69) in order for your tag to be mailed to you.  You may also license your dog in person at the Clerk's Office.  Dogs can also be licensed on-line.
Community Newsletters
Newsletters contain information regarding events in Town as well as in neighboring communities. If you would like to receive the newsletter in your email in-box, send a note to "townclerk@lancasterma.net" with the subject "subscribe".  You may cancel at any time by letting us know you no longer wish to receive it.
