Licenses & Permits

The Lancaster Select Board is the licensing authority for a wide variety of licenses and permits. To apply for one of the licenses or permits listed below the application form must be completed and submitted to the Select Board for approval.

Alcoholic Beverages

License Applications will be accepted for the following:

Licenses for the sale of wines and malt beverages to be drunk on the premises in restaurants having not less than 50 and not more than 125 seats. Not more than 2 such licenses shall be in effect at any one time.
Licenses for the sale of all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on the premises in restaurants having not less than 100 and not more than 500 seats. Not more than 4 such licenses shall be in effect at any one time.
