Thank you all for voting. It was wonderful to have such turnout, very high for a mid-term. Our sumptuous Thanksgiving Dinner is just one week from tomorrow, November 15th.  Get your tickets early please so we can plan. The meal features real roast turkey, homemade pumpkin or carrot ginger soup, apple/cranberry pecan stuffing, homemade 'real gravy', wild rice citrus salad, hand smashed potatoes, green beans almondine, herbed cornbread, homemade cranberry sauce,  sparkling cider and so much more!  Lancaster Seniors only $8, all others $10.  Bring your dessert to enter the contest- Grand Prize a $50 Grocery Gift card and other prizes as well!  Start baking- categories in the Crier. 

Free Plarning Class: Also next week. November 14th! Great FREE Class  Make a holiday gift for friends. A wine cozy or a water bottle sling... maybe for those pickleball classes?  At any rate- a fun free class that you learn a new skill. Please RSVP asap!

Dewey and CricketThursday at 1  Pet Memorial Service and Dedication. Speaking of local impact- we try to support the community and think of many of you as friends including our feathered, and furry ones. Tomorrow at one Reverend Robert Johansen will lead an ecumenical service to remember those that we have lost- it does not have to be 'your pet', or a dog or a cat- just any creature that touched you. This will not last longer than an hour and we encourage you to bring a memento, a leash, a picture or anything to honor your loved one.  At the conclusion, we will dedicate a tree to honor those lost. Tea and coffee and light refreshments follow. 

Ballroom Dancing: This is a great class - fun, no judgment and good exercise -great for the mind too! Now that it is cold and the days are short. You really need to sign up because if you don't sign up soon we will discontinue for the season.  Beginners 6 p.m. Vienesse Waltz (second is a series of four) and Intermediate Rhumba

2 p.m. Dedication of Monument: Ceremony Middle Cemetery.  (Main Street, S. Lancaster across from Quill's Open Space and the site of the Rowlandson Garrison)  Have you seen all the clearing and work at the Middle Cemetery next to Bigelow Gardens? Well come see how it has turned out and learn a bit about how it has turned out. We have invited re-enactors from Boxboro and Stow Minutemen.    Rep. Harold Naughton will speak and also a direct descendant of two Rev. War soldiers who served in the fight for Independence will speak of his families service.
