Spring is here! Despite the 's' word..

Greetings,

I hope you had a nice holiday weekend. It was so nice to have a few days of spring, April fools a bit late. What is with this white stuff? Well it won't be around long and it is the best fertilizer, really. Old timers used to call it Farmer's Fertilizer and here at the Center we have extra. So come on down and get it!

TUESDAY

This week we have some very special events I would like you to consider joining.  A wonderful meal of plain or blueberry pancakes, french toast, juice and coffee should be enough to draw you (at the very reasonable price of $3 all you can eat). The real value of breakfast is seeing your old friends, or maybe making some new ones!  We hope you make it and then stay...because after breakfast the day really kicks off.

8 a.m.-12 p..m. Rick Votuor, our fabulous Veteran's agent is here.

8 a.m.- 10 a.m. Nashoba Nursing Health Clinic. Our town nurse is here with free blood pressure screening and advice and so much more. Take advantage of this great town service.

9 a.m. Keep Moving Walking Club! So much fun, people of all different paces, politcal persuasions, and pets join in to walk or stroll. You feel so much better when you get back and likely learn a little bit along the way.

9 a.m. Mass College of Pharmacy's Ask the Pharmacist, or Brown Bag Pharamacy: Come learn about new drugs, interactions and most importantly get a your very own medication check up-all on your own!  Call to let us know if you want private time, or show up and ask. This should be very informative presentation, yes you can bring your coffee!

10:00 Garden Kick Off! All gardeners on deck-be there! Guests are welcome too! We will learn about bed prep and seed starting and more.  Meet Sandy Reardon our new garden instructor. This year is going to be great!

10:30 Chair Yoga  A real workout despite the stereotype (too hard? Just do what you can)!  A great value at $5 to drop in or 6 for $25

11:30 Lunch with Bev and Deb  A great way to see people, eat well for only $3.

12:30 BINGO baby! 25 cents for 3 card, 50n cents for six... you get it! Snacks and jokes are free!

6:00 Tai Chi: Great way to relax at the end of the day

That is just another typical day... at the Center!  Our garden program is going to be great. Please look up the full schedule in our newsletter. You should have received it in our last email. If not it is on our page.

Our week continues with more Yoga, and Dance lessons on Thursdays. Pickleball is still inside and still fun.Too many details to go over. Get out your calendar and the newsletter so you don't miss a thing.
