PROPERTY INSPECTIONS

As required by the Department of Revenue and as part of our ongoing effort to keep our assessment records up to date, the Assessing staff may be out of the office following up on building permits and taking updated home photos.  A town vehicle, white Nissan Leaf, is used to conduct these inspections and the Town logo is displayed on the doors.  If no one is home, an exterior inspection will be completed and a notice will be left asking the homeowner to call the Assessors office if additional information is needed.  We hope that you will allow these representatives of the Assessors office to do their job as our property assessments are reliant on accurate data collection.
