Greetings,

The November Crier is hot off the presses and you lucky subscribers get the first peek. Lucky? Yes. There is lots going on and many classes and trips are limited, so delve in and call us if you are interested in anything- you get first crack as subscribers.

 As you look out the window you undoubtedly think of fall activities, can you believe Thanksgiving is just weeks away? I can't.  One of our favorite activities is Thanksgiving with Friends is just two weeks away! It Thursday, November 15th this year.  Last year we were not able to hold it as we were abruptly closed due to a damaged power cable. So it will be extra special this year and I hope you join us for a lovely, healthy sumptious homemade meal enjoyed with neighbors and friends. This year I will ask again for volunteers, and most of all the pleasure of your company. We will have transportation should you need it. 

In this season of giving I am always pleased with Lancaster's generosity. Soon the Thayer Memorial Library begins thier Fines for Food program. Don't forget if you know anyone who would benefit from our Books on Wheels program we are trying to get it off the ground.  We are a collection site for the 4-H  food drive so if you have too many canned goods, or toiletries (in date please) bring them by to our collection box in the foyer.

ps. Prefer a hard copy of the Crier. Get is while you vote! Tuesday, November 6th at the Old Town Hall. 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. Three important ballott questions, and of course many races. NO EXCUSE - we will transport you should you like. Call Monday to book a ride!
