Greetings,

We have enjoyed quite a nice stretch of autumn weather. I love it the foliage is slowly coming on. The maples are so pretty with touches of bright color on a backdrop of green. This is a great weekend to get out and enjoy some foliage, apple picking and maybe a good flea market.

Saturday Harvard Land Trust and the Leauge holds their annual flea market in the Center.http://www.harvardfleamarket.com/ This is always a wonderful take, along the way there are many orchards to pick from. I visited George Hill Orchards this week. The apples are delicious and the hayride and a hot cider, and maybe a cider donut are a great way to enjoy this weekend.http://www.yourfavoritefarm.com/ Rota's Pumpkin rides start this weekend toohttp://www.rotaspringfarm.com/.  Locally we have some wonderful trails in town and surrounding areas-try the Town Forest or the Cook Conseravation.  These small treasures are what makes our area so wonderful.

We had many events schedule for this week, but have postponed or moved most of them due to NetFlix returning to shoot. Those of you who saw the town green last time it was THE place to be but parking was scarce. We have decided to cancel most events this week or postpone them to the week after. Look at the October Crier for details about upcoming art classes, a pet memorial service and lots more. Want to join us for lunch this week -we will be at Bigelow Gardens this week for lunch and Bingo. Otherwise please visit us Friday for Bridge or Saturday when Yoga returns.

Enjoy the weekend, hope to see you soon!
