It's here! The August Crier that is..

It is hot in the Nashua Valley, hot, hot, hot...spurring lots of thunderstorms and yes- rainbows! (We wanted to share the pot of gold we found yesterday) Don't despair we have our air conditioner cranked in the Center and the lemonade is always on ice. Not everyone is away- come on visit us!  Attached is the Crier. Make sure you click on it.. it can be hard to find. 

This month Lancaster comes to life in CastleRock, a very scary Stephen King compilitaion filmed here. Hulu did a great job, reviews are good. With our air conditioning, free lemonade and huge TV thanks to Elder Affairs we hope we are too tempting to miss. We start with daytime, or an evening binge session. Some of you joined us for the debut, that was lots of fun. Now we will digest episodes one and two beginning on the 15th and 16th details in the Crier. Pot Luck too.. though of course we will break out the popcorn machine. 

With all the news about the benefits of eating well we really wanted to get to business. Sue Franks is now in the kitchen. She is a great cook and after just a little arm twisting agreed to prepare some nutritious meals. Thanks to a grant from Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation we can keep the prices low! Thursdays at noon and only $5 and they are tasty.. personally I am really looking forward to the locally sourced Veggie Kabobs. Check out the menu there is lots more.
